My name is Kavindu Gamage, the founder of KAV GINZA. I was born in Osaka, Japan, but have lived in Melbourne Australia most of my life. My mother is Japanese and father is Sri Lankan/Australian. I have been to Japan more than 20 times and the country has a special place in my heart.
I decided to start the brand because in regular life and during travels abroad, I would meet so many people from around the world that love Japanese culture. This gave me the inspiration to establish KAV GINZA. Our designs are inspired by Japanese culture, but we have given the designs a modern and western twist.
We strive to create the highest possible quality designs and use the best materials. All our T-Shirts are made from 100% organic cotton. All our products are designed and printed in Melbourne to support the local economy and for quality control. We have also chosen to send packages to customers using eco-friendly biodegradable packaging to do our part for the environment.
